Coventry City news: Ben Wilson named Disabled Supporters Association ambassador!

Coventry City goalkeeper Ben Wilson has been appointed as the new player ambassador for the club’s Disabled Supporters Association (DSA). This announcement coincided with the club’s annual fixture supporting the Level Playing Field ‘Unite for Access’ campaign. The DSA, established in 2023, aims to improve matchday experiences for disabled fans and strengthen communication between the club and its disabled supporters.

Wilson volunteered for the ambassador role, succeeding Liam Kelly, and expressed his commitment to raising awareness about the DSA’s work and advocating for fans with disabilities. He met DSA members pitchside before a recent game and emphasized his desire to lead by example as a senior player. Simone Seth, chair of the DSA, praised Wilson’s enthusiasm and believes he will contribute significantly to their mission.
